Wire mesh shall be labeled with the following information
- the name of the manufacturer;
- the material of the wire;
- the mesh or opening designation depending on the specification;
- the nominal wire diameters;
- the type of weave;
- the quantity, that is, length and width, or the size and number of pieces.
If the stainless steel mesh roll consists of several roll pieces, the length of each piece shall be indicated. Wire mesh in tapes or pieces shall be labeled on the outer packing. The length and width of each rolled piece shall be specified subject to agreement.
