The extruder screens,also named as mesh filter discs or screen mesh packs, is a woven wire mesh filtration system made to meet the customer need. They are available in single-layer or multi-layer configurations, and remove impurities from melted plastic.
Most extruder screens in the plastics industry are typically a square mesh weave ranging from 20mesh to 150 mesh and are made from stainless steel materials to avoid corrosion.
