Plain Weave
In plain weave stainless steel wire mesh, each warp wire has the same diameter as each weft wire has. In this type of weave, the warp wire and weft wire are aligned at an angle of 90 degree, forming a simple criss-cross pattern. Each weft wire crosses the warp wires by going over one, then under the next, and so on. The next weft wire goes under the warp wires that its neighbor went over, and vice versa. Mesh openings are square holes, each of which has the same hole size.
Twill Weave
In twill weave stainless steel wire mesh, the warp wires and weft wires pass over two and under two wires in both directions.
Dutch Weave
In dutch weave stainless steel wire mesh, the diameter of wires in the lengthwise direction is different from the diameter of wires in the widthwise direction. Likewise, the mesh count in the lengthwise direction is also different from the mesh count in the widthwise direction. Dutch weave stainless steel wire mesh features that the lengthwise mesh count is smaller than the widthwise mesh count, and the warp wire diameter is bigger than the weft wire diameter. Warp wire is in the lengthwise direction, and weft wire is in the widthwise direction. Dutch weave stainless steel wire mesh falls into plain dutch stainless steel wire mesh and twill dutch stainless steel wire mesh.
