knitted wire mesh is metallic or non-metallic wire knitted into a mesh structure in very much the same way as stockings or sweaters. Knitting produces a mesh of interlocking loops. These loops can move relative to each other in the same plane without distorting the mesh, giving knitted wire mesh a two-way stretch.
Material
- Stainless steel wire. Most durable among all the metallic materials.
- Brass wire. Bright surface for special applications.
- Copper wire. Excellent shielding, corrosion and rust performance.
- Nickel wire, Monel wire
- PP wire
Strand types
Knitted mesh can be made from mono-filament wires or multi-filament wires.
- Mono-filament knitted mesh. Standard type and suitable for almost all common applications.
- Multi-filament knitted mesh. Suitable for heavy duty and places which needs high loading pressure and requirements.
