Centrifuge Screen baskets for Coal
Centrifuge baskets are used in coal and mineral industries for dewatering and are designed to withstand the high vibrating and rotational stresses of centrifugal dryer systems. Each basket is dynamically balanced to a very high standard to prevent secondary vibration inducing premature fatigue failure.
Basic Principles
During the coarse and fine coal dewatering processing, the material to be dewatered is fed into the inlet cone through the feed pipe. While flowing through the inlet cone, the material is slowly accelerated and uniformly distributed on the circumference of the slot type Screen Basket. The rotating basket is made to perform axial vibration by a vibrator unit with unbalanced drive.
