Faraday Cage Shielding Copper Wire Mesh
The copper wire mesh (also known as copper wire cloth) is commonly made from pure copper wires(also known as red copper wires) through the method of plain weaving. It is a kind of soft, malleable and ductile metal mesh, and has high thermal and electrical conductivity. Copper wire mesh is the commonly used wire mesh in the EMI and RFI shielding industries.
Characteristics of copper woven wire mesh
- Shiny, smooth surface,
- Light weight and flexible,
- High conductivity and shielding performance.
The copper shielding mesh is a plain weave(over one, under one).

Roll width 0.914 m, 1 m, other width is also available.
Application of copper wire shielding mesh
Copper wire cloth is used to provide protection against interfering signals, and provides an interference free environment which speeds testing to enable one to obtain reliable test data. the shielding wire mesh were installed on walls, ceiling, floor and all incoming power and data cables.
