Woven mesh is produced by the process of weaving, that is, by passing wires alternately over and under each other. Woven stainless steel mesh is the most prevalent mesh. Woven wire products cover a wide variety of weaving patterns depending on the final end-use.
Knitted mesh is produced by special knitted wire mesh machines, use metal or non-metal wire as raw material, knitting monofilament or multifilament wire into a tubular form. Then the wire mesh be flattened to mesh rolls, and can be also supplied in corrugated (crimped) form.
