The Crimped meshes are wire meshes made from high quality metal wires. This type of wire mesh is manufactured when crimped wires are tightly tied or weaved together.
There are several different wires that are used to make these meshes. Crimped wire meshes can be made from copper, brass, stainless steel, steel wires, and many other materials. You can find crimped wires in grid windows, fences, cages, shelves, racks, and many other places.
Crimped wires meshes have different types.
double crimp: wire cloth woven with approximately equal corrugations in both the warp and shute wires to lock the wires in position
intermediate crimp:precrimped wire cloth with extra crimps or corrugations between the points or intersection; sometimes designated intercrimp or multiple crimp. The warp, or shute wires, or both, may be intermediate crimped.
flat top: wire cloth with deep crimps, as in lock crimp, except that all crimps are on the underside of the cloth,leaving the top surface all in one plane. Sometimes designated smooth top
lock crimp,-precrimped wire cloth with deep crimps at points of intersection to lock the wires securely in place.
