As for the materials, Copper wire mesh is regarded as a suitable choice for the current collectors due to its excellent electrical conductivity, mechanical strength, ease of processing, and low cost, making it a common choice for battery current collectors.

Copper Mesh Material

The wire mesh is commonly made from pure copper wire. It is available in three different wire materials

C11000 (99.9%) pure copper wire

C10200 (99.95%) pure copper wire

C10100 (99.99%) pure copper wire

Copper Mesh Weave Types : Plain Weave

Plain weave is used for the majority of woven wire mesh. Each warp wire crosses alternately above and below every weft wire and vice versa. Commonly the warp and weft wires have same diameter.

The mesh structure also offers a large surface area to support chemical reactions inside the battery, helping it work more efficiently.

Mesh Edge We Produce

It can be provided as discs or cut into mesh tapes. The mesh tapes are supplied at extremely small width up to 20mm. In addition, we designed special machines to produce the finish edge mesh. The finish edge will increase the mesh stability and provide a safety edge for handling. And It will also protect the battery separator.
